The city will host its annual free open house and touch-a-truck event Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to noon in Norwalk. (Shutterstock)NORWALK, CT — The city will host its annual free open house and touch-a-truck event Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Public Works Center and Norwalk Fire Department Training Tower on South Smith Street.The Norwalk fire, police and public works departments, as well as the Norwalk Hospital EMS, will be present during the event to share information and resources, according to a news release provided by the city.
