Federal funding is on the way to Norwalk to help control flooding in the city.Officials say the federal grant money is being awarded to coastal communities like Norwalk to help them become more resilient against rising sea levels during storms.Sen. Richard Blumenthal will be in Norwalk today to make the announcement.Blumenthal will join Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling and other elected officials.Mayor Rilling says the grant money will help the city develop a flood resilience plan.The money is being awarded through the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation's National Coastal Resilience Fund.
