A number of catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles parked in Norwalk on Jan. 25, according to police. (Al Branch/Patch)NORWALK, CT — Police received a number of reports of catalytic converters stolen from vehicles parked in Norwalk throughout the day on Jan. 25.In a news release, Police Lt. Joe Dinho said each theft, with one exception, was reported in the East Norwalk area of the city.After speaking with witnesses and examining video footage, police determined an older tan Lexus had parked next to the vehicles, after which the suspects exited the Lexus and removed the catalytic converters from underneath the parked vehicles, Dinho said.
